Indulge, cleanse and glow with this DIY ginger detox bath recipe

We all think of detoxing via the food we eat. How about detoxing with a ginger bath and sweating out all the toxins?

I love DIY remedies as I know they work, are good for us and save us money.

This is a good DIY detox bath I have enjoyed many times.

Combine this with a detox smoothie and you are on your way to great health!

  • DIY detox ginger bath recipe:
  • Ingredients:
  • 1/3 cup Epsom salts
  • 1/2 cup coarse sea salt
  • 2 tsp ground ginger
  •  1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • Directions:
  • Combine all of the ingredients in a bowl.
  • Draw a bath and pour mixture in tub. The flowing water will help mix it.
  • Soak in the bath for about 20 to 30 minutes.
  • Enjoy!
  • Note:  Do not take hot baths and salt baths if you have heart problems, high blood pressure, or are diabetic.

  1. I was diagnosed with Hyperthyroidism almost 2 years ago. The medication made me very nauseous so I stopped taking it after 5 months. Now after a new test they want to send me for radiation treatment. I made a point of studying the negative effects of this treatment and believe that there is an almost 80% chance of developing Parkinson’s disease within a year. For this reason I decided to go the natural way and made some changes in my life like quitting work. I feel a whole lot better but still get some tremors, battle to sleep and often my energy levels are very low.

I would appreciate any advice with regards to a 3 day detox diet and recipes that would increase my health.

Since I lived within 4km’s of a major airport and got sick within 3 months of moving there I am almost certain my disease has something to do or was triggered by the pollution in the area. My house was directly in line with the landing strips and the planes came in so low that we could see their wheels.

    Many Thanks
