Baking soda: It is so versatile in use. We all have it as an odor absorbent in our fridge, but how about to soak up stink?
✒ Sprinkle 1/2 cup on carpets, rugs, and your pet’s bed and let it stand for 1o to 15 minutes, then vacuum.
✒ You can also give your dog or cat a dry bath by dousing Baking Soda on them. Use a gentle brush to remove excess powder. This works well for cats and dogs who do not like water.
✒ Baking soda can also be used in litter box to keep it fresh between scoops.
✒ You can make your own cat litter using a small box of baking soda mixed with sandy clay soil to cover two to three inches of the bottom of the liter box.
✒ Bird and and hamster homes can be wiped down using a wet cloth sprinkled with baking soda. Use a thin layer at the bottom of the cage to absorb odors.
Vinegar: We all know the many uses of Vinegar. It is a solvent and antibacterial.
✒ Use equal parts of white distilled vinegar and warm water solution to remove odors or accidents smell.
✒ Vinegar can be used for litter box . You can spray the box and let it stand for 10 minutes, then wipe away with a clean cloth.
