Grape and Cantaloupe Infused Water

Eating organic foods and including them in healthy recipes and drinks is key to healthy living. This flat belly grape and cantaloupe  infused water recipe is full of organic ingredients that are low in calories and high in fiber.

Infused waters are great for weight loss because the water helps you hydrate while flushing out toxins at the same time. It is better to make your own, as store-bought infused waters can be filled with added sugar.

A healthy diet, exercise and self-control are key factors to successful weight loss.

Let’s take a look at the organic foods in this recipe.

Cantaloupe:

One cup of cantaloupe contains only 60 calories and 1.6 grams of dietary fiber.

Ginger:

A study from the Institute for Human Nutrition at Columbia University showed that when participants drank a hot beverage with ginger, they felt more full and had less chance of overeating.

Grapes:

They are an ideal weight loss food, as they are low in calories and high in dietary fiber. Research shows that eating grapes may reduce fat storage in the body.

Lemon:

They are high in pectin fiber, which helps suppress food cravings. It also helps the body eliminate waste products by cleansing and detoxifying it. Lemons are alkaline forming and will aid with weight loss.
